Virgin Hair did not undergo any harsh processes prior to your purchased. You can feel safe knowing that your hair has not been tampered with or any chemical process has taken place, which can alter the nature of the hair.

Should I purchase 8A, 12A Virgin Hair?

Both 8A and 12A Hair are Raw Full Cuticle Non Processed Hair that  can be washed, bleached, colored, styled with any thermal tool or flexi rod.

 

GRADE 8A Virgin hair will appear to be thicker at the weft then 10A hair however the 8A hair is thinner at the ends. The life span of 8A hair with proper care is two years.

 

The 10A hair looks fuller compared to 12A hair which at times will appear to be thicker at the weft and thinner at the ends. 10A Virgin hair has a slightly thicker bundle which means you will need less hair to complete an installment. If properly handled, 10A Virgin hair can be used for a lifetime

• What is the weight of a single Hair Bundle?

3.5 - 4 oz.

• How much hair will it take to complete a full head of extensions?

The average full head of extensions will take 8-10oz. If you order between 12-16 inches in length we recommend 2 bundles for a natural look, 3 for a fuller look.

If you order between 18-24 inches we recommend 3-4 bundles, any lengths over 24 we recommend 4 bundles.   

The average person needs 8-10oz for a full install, however 2 bundles for 12-16″, 3 bundles for 18-24″ and 4 bundles for 26-30″

All purchases have a 2 week return policy if unsatisfied. The product can not be modified and must be in its original packaging.

No, however our hair has been trouble weft to prevent shedding.

Machine weft for bundles and for wigs we offer machine and hand wefts

We offer machine wefts on all of our hair. Hand tied wefts are available upon request.

• Can I dye and/or bleach my virgin hair?

Yes

Virgin hair can be dyed and or bleached, however you still have to be careful as you would with your real hair. Extra care will be needed because the hair is not attached to the scalp and does not retain its own moisture. You must be mindful to keep the hair hydrated and moisturized. Also, when you dye and or bleach your virgin hair the hair is no longer virgin (it will then be chemically processed). We recommend that you have your Lavishing Locks professionally dyed or bleached.

• What is Co-Washing?

A co-wash is when you wash your hair only using conditioner. The conditioner is used in this wash to wash to provide your hair with moisture and shine, and also help hydrate the hair. Most people will say the conditioner is the most important part of the washing process.

 

• How long will the hair last?

 

The life span of the hair depends on the care of the hair. If you follow the instruction on Steps 2 Care 4 Virgin Hair Extensions the hair could last 12months to a lifetime.

 

The hair will last up to a year but can last much longer with proper treatment and care. Constant heat styling, coloring and improper care will significantly shorten the life span of the hair.

 

• Can I straighten my Curly or Wavy Hair?

Yes, we recommend that you Co wash the hair prior to straightening it to strengthen the hair cuticles.
